I still can’t believe Meat Loaf has passed. #rocknroll #batoutofhell #goodforbad #monsterisloose

It’s taken me a while to write this post.

When I wrote Eden and its follow up Hunted, I did it to the soundtrack of the Bat out of Hell trilogy. Meat’s vocals just fit with my character, Fly. The drama, storytelling, grandiose and majestic sound of Meat Loaf’s vocals together with the fabulous songwriter that was Jim Steinman, brought my books alive.

The Monster is Loose came out when I began to write Hunted (the sequel to Eden), and it felt like Meat Loaf was singing personally to me. I felt every emotion in his words. Meat Loaf (and Jim, I can’t leave him out) were both pure and utter sensational.

I just hope they are both rocking and rolling up in heaven.
